நீல நிறம் தழுகினயோ?
சொல்லிடுவின் மேகங்களே
மெல்ல என் செவியினிலே
நீல நிற கார் மேகமே நீ
நிலம் தொட்டு தழுவிடவே
மழை நீரை தூதனுப்பி அவள்
மனம் அறிய நினைத்தாயோ?
ஊடி நின்ற மண்ணை நீ
நீர் கொண்டு களிப்பித்தாயோ?
உன்னைக் கண் குளிர கண்டிடவெ
மின்னலில் மிளிர்ந்திட்டாயோ?
அதிரும் இடியோசையுடன் நீ
இறங்கி வந்த வேகம் கண்டு
நிலம் அங்கு நடுங்கி கணம்
தலம் நீருக்குள் ஒளிந்ததுவோ?

Hope you don't mind some query by me,
நீல நிற கார் மேகமே have you included நீல நிற and கார் specifically or to induce in the poetic tone.. Because நீல நிற means blue coloured and கார் மேகம் black clouds. So i kind of have confusion in what are you saying here.. "blue coloured black clouds"?
May be i'm totally getting it wrong :) and missing to see something ,, hope you don't mind that i have split your words.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. கார்மேகமே means clouds that bring rain. They are dark blue in color. So by நீல நிற கார் மேகமே I mean to refer to the dark blue colored clouds that bring rain.
after long time i am coming back to same topic.. கார் in Tamil refers to black ,so நீல நிற கார் மேகமே will translate as bluish coloured black clouds.. which i feel as odd.. for reference i am using below link where they referring கார் மேகம் as black

and when we describe krishnan generally people say கார்மேக வண்ணன் ,though we see krishnan in picture as blue in actual it refers to black coloured man.
Another example could be this
கார்மேகம் சூழ்ந்தாலும்
காரிருள் சூழ்ந்தாலும்
Here you can see that கார் is used with இருள் which clearly points out the relation
